IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - USING SOFTWARE THAT REMAPS KEYS IS GENERALLY OKAY. AS LONG AS ONE INPUT MAPS TO ONE KEY. DO NOT MAKE MORE THAN ONE INPUT MAP TO ONE KEY. I WILL KNOW AND YOU WILL GET LOW MERCY.

Basic Gameplay

Binary Ranked is a speed-based pattern recognition game. The grid must be filled with the correct colors (black/white) following specific patterns.

Press '0' - Place BLACK tile
Press '1' - Place WHITE tile
TAB / Reset button - Restart current grid
Backspace (ULTRA mode only) - Undo last move (+0.25s penalty)

Game Modes

4x8 Sprint - Quick 32-cell grid, 0.5x XP multiplier
8x8 Classic - Standard 64-cell grid, 1.0x XP multiplier
16x8 Marathon - 128-cell grid, 2.3x XP multiplier
Double - 2x2 checkers pattern, 1.1x XP multiplier
ULTRA - 256-cell grid, 5.0x time scale, 12x XP multiplier, backspace allowed
Zebra - Alternating rows pattern
2-Step - Two black, two white repeating
Split - Left half black, right half white
Consistency - 0101 repeating pattern (12x8)

Rank System

Your skill score is calculated with the following: 1,500 * rank1 + 600 * rank2. Rank 1 refers to standard game modes: 4x8, 8x8, 16x8, and ultra, while Rank 2 refers to special game modes. Ranks are determined based on the percentiles as follows:

Netherite

Top 1%

Diamond

Top 3%

Gold II

Top 10%

Gold I

Top 17%

Silver

Top 40%

Bronze

Top 75%

Honorable

Top 85%

Unranked

Bottom 15%

Scoring System

XP is earned based on your time and game mode:

Faster times = more XP
Harder modes have higher multipliers
Perfect accuracy required for XP gain
Level requirements: Level N needs N×(N+1) total XP
