REMAPPING KEYS COULD BE ILLEGAL ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS
Remapping keys is generally fine, but one physical input must only
produce one in game input. Any setup that creates multiple inputs
from a single action, automates timing, or bypasses intended gameplay
limitations may result in leaderboard removal, pending status, or bans.
THE BOTTOM LINE IS TO USE COMMON SENSE.
Remapping for convenience is okay but remapping for a clear advantage
or having several buttons lead to the same key is not allowed.
One Physical Input = One In-Game Input
Pressing one key may only perform one in game action.
Remapping one key to activate multiple inputs, alternate between
inputs, or repeat inputs is not allowed. Macros, turbo behavior,
automatic alternation, and duplicated inputs are prohibited.
Example: pressing a key once and outputting "zoo",
alternating between 0 and 1 automatically, or triggering
multiple actions from one press is illegal.
Rolling & Multi-Key Setups
Assigning several keys to the same input is allowed only if the setup
remains fully manual and does not create unintended speed advantages.
Multi key rolling methods intended to bypass normal alternating
limitations are not allowed.
Example: using several fingers assigned to the same input for rolling,
piano style alternation, or Sayodevice style spam methods may be
considered illegal depending on usage.
Dynamic Keystroke / DKS
Any configuration that registers additional actions on release,
dual activation, or multiple timing events from a single motion
is prohibited.
Example: pressing and releasing a key to generate separate gameplay
inputs, or using DKS behavior for perfect alternation, is not allowed.
Verification
Suspicious scores may require additional verification including
handcam footage, audible clicks, keyboard view, input overlays,
or software configuration screenshots. Failure to verify suspicious
gameplay may result in leaderboard removal or pending status.
